Newline Storyboarding (Demo)

Let's talk about what we are going to build in this course

Filmmakers and videographers always use a storyboard. The creation of the storyboard is done collaboratively. This demo is about how to create a collaborative storyboard in real-time. Sharing with another email keeps the storyboard private but accessible only to the people you choose.

Introduction#

This lesson aims to explore the process of developing a collaborative real-time web application designed specifically for filmmakers. This application helps filmmakers create and share storyboards seamlessly. It aids in the storyboard creation process and facilitates real-time sharing and collaboration between members of a film crew. This enables them to add their input, give feedback, and bring their creative ideas to life.

A Real-life Application#

A typical scenario where this application comes into play is as follows:

Consider three users - User 1 and User 3 are part of the same film crew, while User 2 is an independent filmmaker. User 1 and User 3 need to collaboratively create and share a storyboard. At the same time, User 2 needs to create his own separate storyboards. This application caters to these diverse needs.
